As soon as you find out you’re pregnant, you’ll want to see a doctor or healthcare professional to prepare for your pregnancy follow-up. However, the first appointment should be made at a minimum of 8 weeks gestation. I’m pregnant: what should I do now?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It’s not always easy to know what to do when a pregnancy is announced! That’s why we’re happy to offer you personalized, humane care right up to the birth of your child. From your very first visit, our doctor will take care to answer any questions or concerns you may have, including delicate questions about fetal anomalies detectable during pregnancy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout your pregnancy, you’ll undergo a number of tests to ensure that your child is normal, such as fetal heartbeat monitoring (from 10 weeks), a viability ultrasound and a pregnancy diabetes test, which is performed around the 27th week of gestation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also offer the non-invasive Harmony test from the 10th week of pregnancy. Harmony analyzes a sample of the mother’s blood to determine the fetus’s risk of trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome) and trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome), using DNA excreted from the placenta (cfDNA). It can also identify the sex of the fetus. The Harmony test detects Down’s syndrome with an accuracy rate of over 99%*. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
