The CNESST (Commission des normes, de l’\u00e9quit\u00e9, de la sant\u00e9 et de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du travail) is the organization responsible for managing industrial accidents and occupational diseases in Quebec.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Who is the CNESST consultation for?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This service is for people who :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • suffered an injury or accident at work<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • must consult a physician to open a new CNESST file<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • need a formal medical assessment related to their work-related accident<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    When an accident or injury occurs at work, a medical consultation is required in order to :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • assess medical condition<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • officially open a CNESST file<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • fill out mandatory medical forms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        2. Assessment of injury or condition<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        The physician conducts a complete clinical evaluation of the injury or condition related to the work accident.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        3. Completion of CNESST forms<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        The physician completes all the medical documentation required to open the CNESST file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • A copy is given to you, so that you can forward one to your employer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
