At the LeBlanc + Savaria clinic, our nurses play a leading role with patients, with responsibilities that include:
- communicate results (all patients receive their results as soon as the doctor in charge has analyzed them).
- respond to questions and concerns following examinations, diagnoses, etc.
- perform nursing interventions to assist in treatment or diagnosis
- follow-up after consultations with the doctor
- bridge the communication gap with the doctor
- take steps in the private or public sector to facilitate appointments with medical specialists, particularly with a view to obtaining diagnostic tests
